The Tunxis Campus Library's study rooms are available to students actively enrolled in Tunxis campus courses only. Each room is available for 2 hours per student per day:
The Anatomy and Physiology/ Microbiology Room is equipped with anatomical models, microscopes & slides. Students must have a Tunxis student I.D. and currently be enrolled in BIO-2111, BIO-2112 and/or BIO-2350 to make a reservation. CT State students enrolled in Allied Health programs may also make a reservation. Even though only one student can reserve the room for two hours, several students can use the room at the same time.
There are three Collaboration Rooms: two on the first floor (7-102 and 7-103) and one on the second floor (7-203). These rooms are equipped with a computer and monitor. Groups of 2 to 6 students have priority for these rooms.
Study room 7-219, located on the second floor of the library, is also equipped with a computer and monitor. This study room is for groups of 4 to 8 students.
We also offer several first-come, first-served study rooms available to individuals and groups. Please see the circulation staff for a key.
